Education

The gas turbine performance software on this website is useful for those working in the gas turbine industry, aircraft engine and airframe manufacturing, the airline industry, aircraft engine maintenance, power generation industry and for other operators of air, land and sea-based gas turbines. It is valuable for consultants, as well as research organizations and - last but not least - the software is extremely suitable as a teaching tool in an educational setting.

The main differences between GasTurb and other competitive software lie in its task-oriented graphics interface and the quality of the graphical output.

Gas turbine performance describes the overall characteristics of a gas turbine and should be understood by all concerned with gas turbines.

中国168官方福彩网直播号码®体彩168飞行艇全天查阅历史记录数据 Cycle Design

Predefined engine models provide a starting point for performance studies and the creation of customized gas turbine models. There are many options for finding the best cycle design point for a given application.

Cycles can be visualized in a variety of different diagrams. This may help, for example, when:

Exploring cycle designs for various applications
Assessing competitor gas turbines with respect to their suitability for specific applications
Providing material for teaching about gas turbine performance

Electric and Fuel Cell Propulsion

Electric propulsion systems and their components become increasingly important. GasTurb 15 includes features for detailed and integrated design of electric propulsion systems. The electric system can be designed, optimized and its Off-Design performance calculated in varying levels of detail - just as required.

The electric propulsion system features include:

Electric Propeller and Fans
Fuel Cell Propulsion Systems
Turbo-Electric Propulsion Systems based on Turbofans, Turboprops and Turboshafts

More information can be found in the new GasTurb 15 manual.

168网查询记录结果+幸运168飞开艇体彩网-赛事结果查询历史直播 Parametric Studies

Parametric studies give an overview of the design space. One or two parameters can be varied simultaneously so generating a range of possible outcomes.

The results can be visualized in a carpet plot. Any input or output quantities including those defined by the user can be selected in order to show their dependence on the varied parameters.

Among other things, this can be used for:

Specifying the overall engine performance design objective
Specifying the component design data on the basis of the overall engine performance design objective
Identifying performance enhancement options for derivative engines
Developing and maintaining the overall gas turbine system model

Preliminary Geometry

The program, when opened, offers different design scopes to be selected. If "More..." - the most detailed scope - is selected in the opening window, the engine or gas turbine dimensions and weight are calculated at the cycle design point.

This can be useful, amongst other things, for:

Specifying the boundary conditions for preliminary design of components, depending on which component performance you wish to assess, for example, using the compressor mean line design tool included in GasTurb
Providing operators, airframe manufacturers and power station designers with geometrical models including length and diameter
Providing airframe manufacturers with engine weight

Steady State and Transient Behavior

Off-design simulations describe the behavior of a gas turbine. Component performance is determined on the basis of maps and the cycle can be simulated in great detail.

GasTurb is also able to simulate transient behavior, taking into account heat soakage and tip clearance effects.

This provides:

Performance data at all power settings throughout the flight envelope
Control system designers with a simulation of the engine behavior
Operators, airframe manufacturers and power station designers with mathematical models of the engines

中国168体彩结果查询开奖网®168网体彩幸运开庭行飞艇中国（官网/官方）福彩历史记录 Test Analysis

GasTurb offers a suite of features for test data analysis, including model-based test analysis (analysis by synthesis). These may help gas turbine operators and MRO service providers, for example, when:

Providing detailed information on specific component wear
Interpreting engine test results and diagnosing operational problems
Monitoring of aircraft engine or gas turbine fleets

福彩168网®直播飞艇-幸运飞开艇开奖-幸运官方飞艇结果体彩查询 Training and Consulting

GasTurb GmbH offers extensive training and consulting support to users.

These include

Tutorials which help new starters to become familiar with the software
Training courses which explore the capabilities of GasTurb for a range of applications
Seminars which are customized to particular needs

GasTurb is able to solve almost any gas turbine performance simulation problem.

A versatile tool for anyone involved with gas turbine technology.
